Race queens and race ambassadors will decorate the circuit for the 2025 season. We will be bringing you an interview project that will take a closer look at race ambassadors who have become indispensable members of the team in recent years, from the form of sponsored advertising agencies.
The 23rd event features Kawase Moe, who won the double grand prize in the Japan Race Queen Grand Prize Newcomer category and Grand Prize when she debuted in the 2021 race queen.
What is her goal when she became a car lover after becoming a race queen?

⎯⎯How many years have you been a race queen/race ambassador?
His debut in 2021 will be his fourth year as a race queen. Kawasaki Aya was at my agency, and I thought watching my seniors would be fun, which made me become a race queen.
⎯⎯What did you think of actually working as a race queen??
That's fun. The biggest change is that I really fell in love with cars. After being involved in the job, I developed an interest, and I removed the limit and earned a manual license, and started driving a Honda Civic EJ1 myself. I think my job as a race queen is really impressive, and I'm sure I've had a huge impact on me.
⎯⎯I graduated from race queen in 2022, can you tell me why I returned?
When I was active, it was the COVID-19 pandemic, so I couldn't do my best to be satisfied with it, and I was also unable to enjoy the circuit with everyone, so I was disappointed. I think I'm back and enjoying it now.
⎯⎯Race Queen/Race Ambassador has a variety of duties, but what do you look forward to most?
I like talking to all the fans who support me, so I'm looking forward to autograph sessions and interacting with the fans. Of course, this was not the case during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I think Autobacs' ARTA GALS has autograph sessions and stage performances. It's a great opportunity to be able to talk to each individual's name or face.
⎯⎯What do you want Kawase to pay attention to on the circuit this season?
This year, there are four members of ARTA GALS, and each of them has a different colour, has a unique personality, and they look good friends. I hope you can see how close we are.
⎯⎯Please tell us what you've been hooked on recently in your private life and what kind of trend you've become a part of.
In terms of car-related matters, I still enjoy driving. Also, I'm addicted to talking to chat GPT. He talks a lot. I interact with them every day, and I ask Chet GPT all the trivial things. When I search Google, I get extra information, and I'm an ignorant person, so I get confused when a lot of information comes out. With Chat GPT, people like me are grateful because they cut down a certain amount of information before throwing info. It's been a lot of evolution recently, and they're close to me, so it's kind of human and amazing.
⎯⎯ Are there any celebrities, artists, or YouTube you like?
I often watch Tamura Ryo's YouTube, and I've also collaborated on it the other day! It shows Ryo's personality, and is calm and very kind, but when it comes to cars, it was YouTube, where he speaks very talkatively and gives him a sense of love for cars. A collaboration project with me and Ryo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxuWCyqlUhU) is definitely worth watching.
⎯⎯ Finally, please give us your last personal goals for the year.
This year's goal is to exhibit my Civic EJ1 at Tokyo Auto Salon in 2026. So we are looking for people to team up with us (lol). As for customizing the car, there have already been various tunings, so it would be better not to touch them anymore, but I would like to customize the exterior.
Kawase Moe is active as a top race queen. We hope you will also pay attention to the success this season and the evolution of your beloved car.
