Peoples is a former four-star prospect who signed as part of OSU’s 2024 recruiting class.
The Texas native started his collegiate career as the third option behind eventual NFL Draft picks Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson. After appearing in eight games while that duo led Ohio State to a national title, Peoples was expected to step into a starting role this season.
He split the workload with CJ Donaldson in OSU’s season-opening win against Texas before starting the next two games. However, he did not start any of Ohio State’s final 11 games.
Freshmen Bo Jackson and Isaiah West worked their way up Ohio State’s depth chart while Donaldson maintained a situational role.
On their roster, the Buckeyes have freshman Anthony “Turbo” Rogers and signed four-star running back Favour Akih as part of their 2026 class.
