At this Belgian Grand Prix, I was in charge of commentary on Fuji TV's F1 broadcast for three days, so I was able to watch more closely than usual, including the data.
What we learned is that the delicious speed range of aero is different between McLaren and Red Bull. McLaren has a faster speed range of 180-270km/h, while Red Bull has a better speed around 280-300km/h.
Red Bull has a “valley” of aero below 280km/h, and this is exactly where Max Verstappen often says “doesn't bend.” The reason for the Hungaroling's defeat was that it was a course mainly focused on this kind of corner.
