He started in his first starting lineup since his transfer to DeNA, and he had two hits and one RBI, including a timely double. He led the team to victory with his first hit and RBI after transfer.

Born in Hyogo Prefecture. After working at Hotoku Gakuen and Kwansei Gakuen, he joined Nikkan Sports in 2007.
He was assigned to the baseball team, and was in charge of amateur baseball until December of the same year, in charge of Giants in his first term from 2008 to 2011, in charge of Seibu from 2012 to 2013 (WBC from 2013), in charge of Giants in his second term from 2014 to 2016, in charge of amateur baseball from 2017 to 2018, in charge of Giants in his third term from 2019 to 2020, in charge of Yugun in 2021, and in charge of DeNA from 2022.
