When asked about the team captain, manager Moriyasu Kazushi named Nagatomo Yuto (FC Tokyo), the oldest member of the 38-year-old, saying, “I want to nominate Nagatomo.”
He then expressed his hopes, “When it comes to being a captain, all 26 players want me to demonstrate leadership so much that I want them to be captain. I want them to have the desire to contribute to the team.”
He also revealed that he would like to change the game captain every three games and “want to have many players experience it.”
