On the 3rd, the Japan Football Association (JFA) announced 26 Japanese national team members who will be competing in the East Asia E-1 Championship (7th to 16th) to be held in Chiba City from the 7th.
Midfielder Sato Ryunosuke (18, Okayama), who made his national team debut in the final Asian qualifying round of the World Cup (World Cup) match against Indonesia on June 10th, has been called up again.
Coach Moriyasu said, “Even though there was a very tough fight after being selected for the national team, we went to the national team within the team, so we have overcome the pressure of what we will show and have been able to get the position.”
While becoming more of a mark on his opponents, he has contributed to the victory as an indispensable player at Fagiano Okayama, and has also shown his improved appearance. That is why he hinted that he was an undeniable choice, saying, “As the other party faces off with vigilance and power, he is able to show his challenge while taking on the pressure from the other party.”
In addition, defender Ando Tomoya, selected from Avispa Fukuoka, highly praised his defensive ability, taking advantage of his tall height of 190cm, as well as his offensive power. “He has the skills to do with his feet. He not only has build-ups and passes, but also the kicks that can be taken from behind the front line from behind are highly accurate and have great things,” he explained.
